Math Curriculum

Mission Statement:  to educate and inspire all students to become productive citizens in a global society.

Grandview ISD students receive curriculum and instruction focused on the TEKS, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, developed by the Texas Education Agency.  Grandview ISD teachers use a variety of resources to offer rigorous quality instruction.  Teachers utilize the TEKS Resource System as a scope and sequence and planning tool.

Revised Mathematics TEKS were implemented in 2014 -2015 for K-8th grade.  TEA offers a resource for teachers and parents to help with this transition.  Grandview ISD also implemented new math textbooks for the 2014 - 2015 school year.  High School students will begin with new math TEKS and textbooks in the 2015 - 2016 school year.
