• ESL - ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE

    Grandview ISD is committed to educational excellence for Emergent Bilingual (EB) students. We support our EB students in a variety of settings, depending on what level of support the student needs to be successful:
    1)  Students can receive support from an ESL teacher who pulls the student into a small group 3-5 times a week;
    2)  Also, many of our teachers are ESL certified, which allows students to receive their ESL support in the classroom; and
    3)  An ESL teacher could also support students by going into the classroom and working with the students there.
