The Grandview ISD School Board voted unanimously to call a bond election for $6M to include the addition of 8 classrooms at the elementary school. They will also serve as storm shelters during emergency weather situations. The bond package also includes collaboration learning spaces for students, a walking track, an extension of the cafeteria and more freezer space.
The enrollment of the building is nearing its total capacity of 650 students. The additional space would allow for 150 more students for a total capacity of 800. These additions were part of the original design of the building and would complete the original concept.
