Talk with your child about their schedule for next year.
If you have questions please contact me.  I will be conducting
parent meetings in March and April.  Please try to attend these very
important meetings.  We go aver all of the changes for next year and update
you on options for your child's education.  It is more than just a meeting
to pick electives.  Attending these meetings will keep you in the know.

I will be doing one on one's with Juniors in the up-coming weeks.  We will be reviewing
the Kuder Career Assessment and ASVAB scores to try to determine career paths
for next years electives as well as choices for higher education after high school.

I will be meeting with the Sophomores as a group to go over 6 year plans and to
begin evaluating the Plan test.  We will meet in small groups on Feb 20th to
further evaluate the Plan Test and begin their Kuder Career Assessment.
 This assessment will help them to develop goals for the future, college and hopefully
put them on a college/career path for higher education.

I will be meeting in small groups with the Freshmen to discuss 6 year plans.
We will go over how their GPA's are figured and why it is important to maintain
a good academic standing while in high school.  We will take the Kuder Career
Assessment and begin discussions about all of the possibilities after high school
which will lead into a discussion about courses for next year
and the rest of their high school career.
