Our Band |
The band program at Grandview High School is an important part of school life. Our group represents a large, colorful, visible, and highly disciplined segment of the school. Band participation at pep rallies, concerts and other events adds excitement to our community. The main emphasis of the band program is musicianship and pride of accomplishment; followed closely by citizenship, tradition, morale, spirit, and loyalty!
It is the pride of a job well done and the accomplishments achieved that make the sacrifices worthwhile. The success of the Zebra Band will lead to the success of the individual.

As members of the Thundering Herd Band, we are committed to represent ourselves, our school, and our community with pride, respect, and dignity. Through hard work, discipline, and open-mindedness we will aspire to reach higher goals and better ourselves, both individually and as a unit. We will strive to create an environment of cooperation and encouragement, remembering that we are each at different levels of achievement. It is through our determination, perseverance, and belief in each other and ourselves that we will succeed and truly become the best that we can be.
